Sales Specialist - Clinical microbiology Diagnostics 0805-41 Negotiable ASAP Permanent Covering south west, south central and west London NHS regions, including Oxford, Bristol, Reading, Basingstoke Job Description Job Title:Product Specialist Reports To:Divisional Sales Manager 1.Prime Job Objectives 1.1To achieve agreed sales targets for relevant product groups. 1.2To follow the marketing strategies, promotional programme and to spend time where it can have most effect using Pivotal to its full extent to maintain, plan and oversee the basics of territory operation. 1.3To provide customer training and technical support to customers on all relevant products through demonstrations and professionally conducted trials. 1.4To develop and maintain relationships with all customers and influencers within the allocated accounts by regular visits in order to engender a professional selling environment to the benefit of the company. 2.Responsibilities 2.1To regularly visit target accounts in accordance with the promotional programme, meeting all activity requirements on the Buying and Working Platform, to engender a good selling environment and to maintain excellent customer relations. 2.2To control process of necessary product evaluations relevant to the sales and marketing function as outlined in the market plan. 2.3To ensure that customer prices are consistent with the marketing strategy. 2.4To maintain full knowledge of all contract and bulk purchase on the relevant territory and to liaise closely with all company personnel to secure such business. 2.5To ensure up to date market data for all accounts is held in Pivotal
